Style Trend – 30 Days of FAB Show Day 1

It's 30 days of Fashion and Beauty and we kick off with Show day weekend. Show day weekend is 2 days of runway shows put together by the ACP Magazines, Grazia, Cosmo, Madison, Cleo, Shop Til You Drop and Harper Bazaar.

Both Brendan Allsopp and I attended the two packed out days and this is who we wore .

I am in love with this feminine, free flowing multi length dress from the one and only Tigerlily.

The cut of the dress fits perfectly and weight of the material helps to fall on a womens body beautifully and glides through the wind giving you the Marilyn Monroe feel without going to high thanks to the hem shorter in the front and longer in the back. You feel sexy elegant with a slight edge in the detailing at the back of the dress showing a little skin in the perfect way again enhancing the female figure in just the right way.

The shoes...High?? to High?? NOT AT ALL!! Although it may look high these wedges were extremely comfortable. I wore my gorgeous Billini wedges for a good 9 hours straight running around the city and going from show to shoe. By the end of the day I still happy to be wearing it and didn't feel like I needed to cut my feet off as we have all felt at one time or the other.

They are not only comfortable but were the talk of Showday as I was complemented left, right and centre. It seemed these wedges where the hit of the day rather than the shows :).

Where can you get them? Right here. They are perfect for the pastel trends this summer as presented by Grazia, Cleo, Madison, Shop Til You Drop and Cosmo. They are also available in Lemon Sorbet and only $69.95

The Denim Jacket is back, thank goodness! I love my little denim jacket from Bardot. The shredded denim hem gives it the edgy funky look and goes with almost anything. Your perfect staple piece for spring, not to thick whilst the weather is warming up and perfect for the little chill that still lingers through the nights.

Dress: Tigerlily $ 189.95,  Jacket: Bardot $120.95, Wedges: Billini Tanealle Lilac $69.96

Show day was on the first day of Spring, so it was only natural to want to ease into the warmer trends after the winter chill.

I wore a fitted long sleeve white, red and blue tiered shirt paired with blue demin straight cut jeans by Fresh Soul Clothing.

The fitted shirt was perfect as the material is thin and breathable but still kept me warm. The tier of bright reds and deep blue’s was accented by the clean white. It definitely worked well with my skin tone and the deep blue brought out my eyes.

The jeans were extremely comfortable and non restrictive when sitting down. I definitely think everyone needs a good pair of demin jeans and Fresh Soul is definitely my choice. They know how to make clothes for comfort and to look good.

If you’re looking to ease into the Spring colours this is the best way to go.
