The celebrities stepped out on the red carpet of the 64th Emmy Awards ready to shine, and did they ever. The colour is a representation for sunshine, joy, happiness, high energy and is known as an attention getter, and that is exactly what these celebrities did in their stunning Yellow/Citrus gowns.

Seafoam Teal

Following the fun and flirty fishtail trend, celebrities took to the red carpet in different shades of the elegant and calming seafoam teal.

I could not decide which if these beautiful picturesque gowns were my favourite.

Seemly close to the nude colour that was a fabulous trend for the lips on the red carpet for all the stars, grey was the shade to add that hint of colour in their gowns that balanced the nude lips. Still a little to safe, these celebrities looked elegant, sophisticated and out of space (poor Lucy Lui).

Far from space, the other stand our colour of the red carpet was the divine red wine shades that emulated sophistication and classic hollywood style.

Which colour was your favourite?
